  • Welcome!

My name is Bonnie Ingraham, and I'm the girl behind the lens.
I am a photographer in Lancaster County, PA, and my style is simple, clean and creative. The "CB" in my website stands for 'captured beautifully' because that is what I do. Whether it is your precious newborn or your precocious toddler, I will create beautiful memories that you will treasure forever. I'd love to tell you more about myself - come on over here!

beautifully pregnant

This was the second of three photo shoots I did this week.   It was a busy week, but very worth it!   My clients are so wonderful – willing to try anything I suggest!

Judging by the amount of new baby stuff in their house, and the gorgeous nursery they have ready – this couple is very ready to meet their first child!   It was the first really warm day of the year, so we were even able to get some great shots outside!  A & S – here are a few of my favorites from your session…and I can’t wait to meet your new little one in a few weeks!

Great ideas! I have a maternity shoot this week and I was trying to think of some different ideas. I like the last pic the best!

Beautiful! I can’t believe how great these turned out. I can’t wait to be the nanny! :)

little peanut

This adorable little peanut is the newest addition to friends of ours.  Although, we haven’t known them too long, they have been waiting for this little miracle for several years.  If it is hard for me to believe he is finally here – I can only imagine what it feels like for them!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of little Mr. B.   Mom and Dad said he hated his diaper & clothes off and were worried he wouldn’t do well.  But he did great as you can tell!  Once we got him to sleep, he stayed happily curled up in his little birthday suit while I snapped away.

Thanks so much for the amazing pics, can’t wait to see the rest!

Stephen & Rebecca

Our good friend Rebecca got married this past weekend!  We weren’t the official photographers for her wedding though.  Courtney was in the wedding, and I’m 6 1/2 months pregnant…it just wouldn’t have worked.  So it was nice to be able to enjoy the wedding from a view other than that of a photographer.   That’s not to say we didn’t take pictures!  We mainly took them at the reception as we had volunteered to cover that aspect of it.

It was such a fun wedding – Rebecca is so expressive and the two of them are obviously so in love!  We don’t really know Stephen that well – their dating/engagement/wedding all took place in a matter of months!  But, seeing them together, it is obvious they are meant for eachother.   Congrats you two – we hope you like your pictures!

These next two are me shooting from my seat.  I have no idea who she saw to evoke the expression below – but it was great!  She is probably the most expressive bride I’ve seen yet!

This was hilarious!  Rebecca came out in goggles and it was a good thing she did!  I think it was one of the groomsmen who poured the whole bucket of bird seed on them.  Every time I look at these pictures I wonder how much of it she got in her mouth!

Listening to the toast from Stephen’s brother…this was probably the point where Stephen’s younger brother was lovingly mocking Stephen about his size.  :)

Stephen caught in a moment of pondering…possibly trying to figure out if being a bride might have been a better deal.

Great pictures! What lens did you use for these?

cbportraits - March 5, 2009 - 2:13 am

Thanks Ashley! Most of them were taken with the Canon 28-70 2.8.

my new hobby…

I’ve always liked being crafty and doing thing with my hands.  And, it seems every Christmas my family members gets my latest handmade creation as a gift.  I suppose it is a mixture of wanting to save money and wanting to give things that are meaningful.   Do they always like my gifts?  Uh…not sure about that.  :)

My newest hobby is knitting.  I decided to teach myself to knit this summer.  I’m very deturmined to accomplish things once I’ve set my mind to it.  So,  after many, many hours of trial and error and frustration – I feel I have finally gotten “pretty good.”   The reason I decided to learn was because I had seen so many photographers using adorable knit props in their infant photoshoots (hats, wraps, blankets etc.).   They were too expensive to buy, so I figured I could learn to do it!

Here are some pictures from a few things I knit for family this year – a hat & neck wrap combo and felted purses. They picked the yarn and I picked the projects…

cute stuff! so great that you can do that! i don’t have the patience for it. i went on a retreat with my church last weekend and a lady had a beautiful shawl she had made. I asked her if she’d make me something similar for my pictures and she said yes. i love the texture it adds to photos.

I LOVE that white purse…I am a sucker for purses!! Do you sell your pieces?? By the way….we had a great time today at our shoot. I can’t wait to see the pictures!!

Disney

I’m very late in getting these up! We took a family trip to Disney in December and had a great time! We had been saving up for several years and when a good Disney special came up we jumped on it!
The weather was perfect – I couldn’t believe we were wearing shorts and going in the pool in December! Both kids had a great time – but it was very tiring! Walking, walking, walking and more walking! Of course that was just Brian and I – the kids rode in style in a double stroller we borrowed (thanks Melanie!).

Character lunches were one of the kids’ favorites! Aiden was happy to hug them. Savannah was funny – she talked a big talk, but when one of them came over, she would cling to me. The characters were apparently used to it, and were very good at getting kids to warm up to them!

This was a Chinese restaurant we had fun at. We were shocked when Savannah grabbed my shrimp-on-a-stick and started chowing down! :)

more disney fun…

These were the highlights for each of the kids – Aiden the warm pool, and Savannah getting to pet an alligator…she loves animals!
