Baby Myla was just starting to sit up on her own. Such a big girl – I think she looks pretty proud of herself in this first picture! :) I just loved her bright blue eyes!
Wow, it’s been a long time since I last featured a local ‘mompreneur’ on my blog! To me, a mompreneur is a woman who runs a business at home, while also being the primary caregiver for her children (and is generally selling a mom/child focused service or product).
I just love spotlighting these moms. I guess it is because I know how absolutely hard it is to start and run your own business (while dealing with all the craziness of home and children!). It takes an amazing amount of determination, energy, and creativity.
I’m so happy to introduce you the super sweet and very talented Erin Shebish, creator of Sugar Crumbs. I’ve been blessed to get to know her recently through my local MOPS group. She’s one of those people you meet, and hope that if you hang around them long enough, their cute and stylish personality will rub off on you. (Okay, Erin, now you know the real reason I want to be your friend!)
Oh, and read on to find out how you can win an item from her shop!
Look at Mr. Zach – growing up into such a handsome little guy! He was a sweet, squishy little newborn last time I saw him.
He’s just a couple months older than my youngest. When I did this session for him at 8 months old, I remember thinking it sounded so old…I couldn’t imagine my baby on the move. Crawling and wanting to explore everything. Yet, as I type this – that is exactly where she is at now. It’s amazing how fast our little ones grow up. We try to treasure every moment, but it’s so hard to hold on to the memories. I’m glad we were able to capture little Zach at this phase of his life. He’s still a baby, but on the cusp of being a toddler (sniff sniff…that can’t be where my baby is headed, can it?). Goodness knows, as I type this several months later – he probably already walking!
Although this session was several months ago, I still remember what beautiful fall evening it was. We spent a couple hours in downtown Lancaster, clicking down the cobblestone paths, throwing around golden colored leaves, exploring fountains and playing hide-n-seek around pillars. 15 month old Ethan was like a little energizer bunny….continually on the go!
